AV72 Chair EJ 230
Arne Vodder (1926 – 2009) was one of the most influential Danish architects and furniture designers in the 20th century. A sense of detail, modest expression and fondness for natural materials characterized Vodder’s designs. Arne Vodder’s designs were often produced from natural materials. The AV72 chair was the first item of furniture he designed with a full metal frame. Just like Arne Vodder’s other designs, the AV72 was designed with a passion for detail. The frame in matt metal enhances the beautiful shape of the chair, which follows the shape of your body naturally. A good design for Arne Vodder had to be both useable as well as aesthetically beautiful. A chair should be comfortable to sit in. Material: Frame: Lacquered stainless steel. Structural cover: Natural linen. Cushion: Cold cured foam. Headrest: Polydown.
